H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB, known as H & M is a clothing retail company from Sweden. H & M provides clothing for women, men, teens and children. The company was founded by Erling Persson in 1948, as a provider of women's clothing (Hennes). In 1968 expanded into menswear provider and changed its name to Hennes & Mauritz (H&M). Currently (2011) has stores in 41 countries with 2300 stores and 87,000 employees
